CAJUN KITCHEN VENTURA

Serving Breakfast and Lunch

Cajun Kitchen, situated in the heart of downtown Ventura, at the corner of Palm and Main Streets, has quickly become one of the most popular breakfast and lunch spots.

In 1984, Richard Jimenez Sr., a Santa Barbara native, took over the first Cajun Kitchen; he had no restaurant management experience, but was motivated by his vision to create a great atmosphere with delicious food for locals.  Cajun Kitchen remains family-owned and operated, which we believe is the cornerstone to a happy and successful business.

In 2007, the Jimenez family opened Cajun Kitchen in Ventura.  Modeled after the Cajun Kitchen restaurants in Santa Barbara and Goleta (there are 3 of them), the Ventura location now has a personality all its own.

While the menu selections remain deliciously consistent at all of our restaurants – Cajun and Mexican style dishes, coupled with our genuinely friendly customer service, the Ventura location still stands on its own.

At Cajun Kitchen, we wholeheartedly believe it’s not only about the food, but the entire experience.  So, enjoy beignets dusted with powdered sugar and then choose from selections such as huevos rancheros or a creole selection like jambalaya or grits and even treat yourself to one of our Bloody Mary’s.  Then, on a full and happy stomach, venture about downtown Ventura.  Within walking distance of Cajun, you will find the best little boutiques and vintage shops.

It is our pleasure to be among such an amazing community as Ventura.  Our staff welcomes you and looks forward to serving you deliciously prepared breakfast and lunch.
